Craft fair
Exciting news! Yesterday December 7, 2012, I did my very first craft fair where I had my cards for sale! The table cost $35.00 and I was hoping to at least sell enough to cover that but I made that much and more. It was a long day. The fair started at 7:30 am and went to 5:00 pm. It was held at the local hospital so they wanted let the employees have a chance to attend. I sold 37 cards. Much more than I expected.
There were 28 tables and 3 of us were selling cards.
The nice part was the hospital fed us for free. They had bagels and muffins in the morning and pizza, salad and sandwiches for lunch. We didn't have to leave our tables, they brought us the food and drinks to our table.
I did get tired and a little silly near the end but had a good time.
My ego has picked up , met a lot of nice people and I now realize that my cards are worth selling.

Christmas goody bags
These are goody bags I made for my family for Christmas. I bought the bags at AC Moore for a dollar. They are Christmas bags and say merry Christmas on them and a picture of a sleigh. The merry Christmas is covered up with the toppers. I made the toppers from elegant edges at 6 inches as the bag measured across 6 inches. It was on page 25, the oblong shape. I then embossed then with the cuttlebug snowflakes folder. I made the santa with doodlecharms at 2 inches. I embossed the beard and mustache with divine swirls. I used stickles on his pom pom on his hat. I used elegant edges again for the sentiment this time the square one located on pg 25 hit shift swirl 1 at 2 inches. I folded the topper in half and stapled it together. Then I added the santa and sentiment which covers the staples.

Happy 13th
This was one of the quickest cards I've done. I started with a 6.5 x 5 white card. I put on a dark blue mat at 6.25 x 4.75. The star paper is 6 x 4.5. I used elegent edges for the center mat at 4 inches and I also used the shadow in dark blue. The happy birthday was from birthday bash and the 13th was from plantin schoolbook. I'm not sure of the sizes as I had to play around myself and not sure what I ended up with. The streamers were some stickers I had leftover.

Froggy pedestal card
This card was made for a friend who is having surgery. I got the idea from Cardz TV video. The frog was cut from paper doll dress up at 5.5 inches. You can find him on pg. 55. I added google eyes. Then take some card stock cut 4.5 x 11. Then score it at 2 3/4 and 5.5. The sentiment base is 2 1/4 x 3 3/4. This holds the card up. The sentiment will go here too but I didn't put it there. The sentiment would fit inside the base. Next you take another piece of card stock and cut it 4.25 x 5.5(a2 size) attach that to the base. The band across the card is 2 x5.5, I ran it through the cuttlebug. Then I added brads. The sentiment base can be cut at any size but since there are 4 people signing this, I left it open.
